Castles!

I found my 2 favorite buildings here in Logan. I think I like them so much because they look like castles! The first one you will recognize-the logan temple. It is so beautiful! It doesn't have an angel moroni though which i thought was kinda strange...but it's beautiful none the less. It is up on a big hill so you can see it from a lot of different places in logan. I love the temple!!



The next building I found that I love is a reception hall in north logan. I think it's even called the castle or someting like that. It is AMAZING! The pictures don't do it justice that is for sure!

If you look close here, this is the side of the building there is a balcony walkway that's a few feet long and underneath it is what looks like a valet parking area...ya know where the goofy boys take your car for ya..pretty fancy.

Who peed blue!?!

Ok so last night i was over at the pineview boys apt (Sid and his roommates) chance, mike, and i were just sitting around the table talking. They had just finished playing intermural basketball and blake says, "man i smell like dog..i am going to go shower." So he walks down the hall into the bathroom and we hear him yell "DUDE!!! Who peed blue?!" So chance says "no way!" and takes off running down the hall. Mike and i are just laughing our heads off. Then they come out and they are like "we are serious someone peed blue! How do you even do that?" Unfortunately we had to rain on their parade and tell them that it probably just got cleaned... They were very disappointed. But it was pretty funny while it lasted. Leave it to college boys to not know what a clean toilet looks like.

Orem

Kasha had been asking me if i would go to orem and visit while i am unemployed so last week i decided to take her up on her offer. I drove to orem on wed and stayed till sunday. We had a wicked Gilmore Girls party pretty much every night. I am all caught up now. I had never seen it before and kasha said it was the best...haha. Eliot got pretty sick on friday so that was kinda sad but she is still as cute as ever! I also got to see shan and josh while i was there that was good too. That little guy is so handsome. Saturday we went shopping for some boots so i won't freeze this winter in the north pole. I found some pretty cute ones! I love shoes! We had a lot of fun though. I love to hang out with my family!!

USU basketball and Nibley!!!

Well I had the opportunity to experience my first USU basketball game. It was pretty fun actually. I went with some friends who knew one of the players so he got me in for freeeee! I even got to walk through this basketball entrance tunnel i felt way important. The people i went with didn't let me know that we were sitting in the student section though so i wore pink...yes in an Aggie Blue stadium. I was like what the junk! I stuck out like a sore thumb. It was pretty funny. USU's crowd is way rude though. It was entertaining. We killed the Canadian team we were playing by like 40 points. Oh yeah and i saw Cade and Kelsie Kowallis there that was kinda crazy!! After the game we went back to one of their apts and we were supposed to go have a fire. There were 3 of us that sat there waiting to hear from everyone else for like an hour after an hour we decided to bail. Mike and i went on a slurpy run and on our way we found a sign for a little town called Nibley... Is that not the sweetest name for a town?! ha ha It is only like 3 miles out side of logan so I made him drive there and pull over so we could get a picture cuz i was like there is no way they are going to believe this back at home. ha ha. The picture isn't great but it will do for now. The flash on my phone sucks. I am proud to say i have been to nibley and back! I love it.

Yes they even have a sign! That was the best part.

Ice Skating

Well I had a date this past friday with sids roommate mike. We went to dinner at pita pit (which is way good...) after dinner we went ice skating. I don't know how many of you have seen me ice skate but...it's not a pretty sight. Well luckily mike was just as bad as i am. We looked like monkeys out there it was so funny. He fell about 4 times which was kinda embarrassing on his part. One time i lost my footing a little and i swear he pushed me down. It was like slow motion it was funny. Once we decided to leave we were skating off the ice and this little boy rammed me! It was like something you would see on Americas Funniest Home videos. I screamed like a little girl and my feet flew out from under me and i landed right on my back taking mike with me. ha ha It was a classic. Talk about leaving in style right...? Once we were finished looking like idiots on the ice we went back to his place and watched dumb and dumber with his roommates.
This is what my leg looks like after ice skating. I am an idiot and didn't wear long socks so i have some wicked battle wounds...ouch! (once again i appologize for the photos they are from my phone so they aren't the best.)

School

Well here is the update on my schooling situation. So i went down to campus today and talked to someone in admissions. I found out that i have to reapply for main campus which BITES! It's past the due date so i have a late fee i have to pay on top of the normal fee. So it will take probably 4 weeks for me to get accepted then after that i have to do orientation (which i can do online..yippee!) after i do that i have to talk to an undeclared adviser then i can register after that. So we are like mid december before i will be registered...that stinks pretty bad. Oh well they sounded pretty confident that it will all work out so i'm hoping.

Shaun of the dead

So guess who called me last night..that is right shaun of the dead. I don't understand..sometimes he ignores me and then BAM i am alive again. I don't really know why he called me but luckily Sid had invited me to go bowling with him and his roommates and some friends so i didn't have to talk to long. I don't know what he is thinking. He didn't even know i was up here and when i told him he just said "oh" then he asked what i was up to and i told him i was going bowling. HA sucker. He thinks my world revolves around him i think. What a joke. It was kind of odd though. I didn't really know what to think about it. I guess we will see how long it takes for him to use me as his booty call. I actually wouldn't mind just being friends but i have a feeling if we hang out he will try somethng... We will see i guess. Bowling was a lot of fun though. Most of Sids roommates are from Manila which i thought was funny. I guess they get along pretty great. They were actually way cool though. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. One of them i had actually gone rafting with a few years ago. I didn't realize it until i saw him up close his name is blake. It's a small small world. And they know my Ivie cuz she was from there too. CRAZY! The other one that i talked to quite a bit is named mike. He is also from manila. After bowling we went back to Sid's apt and hung out for a while. Once it started to get late Sid and mike walked me home cuz they think i am retarded and wouldn't be able to find their apt unless they walked me home. ha ha they might be right...We had fun though. It was good to get out of my apt and meet some people.

Helga...

This is Helga..(well that is what i named her.)You walk in my door and she is the first thing you see right above the couch with the crocheted blanket on the back. Ha ha. I walked in and was like, "what did i get myself into". I haven't had the guts to ask michelle if she painted it or if it is of a relative or something. It's just to much. I laugh so hard at it. I think it is a woman but i could be wrong. I think she might be like a guardian angel or something.

Logan!

Well I offically made it to Logan! Here is the low down. My roommates are very nice. There are 3 of them: michelle, katie, and fran.This is what i know about them...Michelle is a little odd. She is 24 i think and has been living in this apartment for about 2 years so she took it upon herself to decorate...he he wait till you see that. She is a really sweet girl just a little different. She LOVES to crochet. She has crocheted animals all over her bed and dolls with crocheted dresses and blankets and vests and dresses that she wears. It's pretty wild i won't lie. I may just have to pick it up. ha ha. Katie is way cool she is a senior so she isnt around much but she is always asking if i need help. Fran i have only seen 2 times and we said hello that is it. She isn't around much i guess. My apt is on the top floor so i have to go up 3 flights of stairs to get here...lame! Unloading my car was not to fun to say the least. I am going to be inshape that is for sure!The first night Mr. Sidney Thayne came over for a few minutes to say hello. It was good to see a familiar face i won't lie i was kinda lonely.
